6 Week introduction to mindfulness course
Starting in February 2018, I will be offering an introductory six week mentored distance learning course focusing on mindfulness which is aimed at adults who wish to start developing their own practice and wish to share the basics of mindfulness with children and teenagers either at home, or within a professional setting.
During our six week programme you will learn many useful, simple and practical mindfulness exercises for use in your own life and learn how these exercises can be adapted and shared with children and teens to make mindfulness fun, exciting and applicable to different age groups in different settings.
This six week course is fun and inspiring as you learn how to manage your own stress levels and live more mindfully.
Who is the training suitable for?
- Everyone – mums, dads, grannies and granddads and anyone who wishes to understand how a mindfulness practice can help themselves and children/teens manage stress.
- School teachers who would like to know more about using mindfulness techniques in their classroom easily and who do not necessarily wish to become mindfulness teachers.
Start whenever you want to. Flexible start dates to fit around your current commitments.
What sets this six week course apart from other distance learning courses is the support you receive from me. During the training we “catch-up” online via Skype ensuring you will not feel that you are being left to fend for yourself. You will be encouraged to embrace your own mindfulness practice to ensure you get the most out of this learning opportunity.
How do I pay for the six week course?
Payment is accepted via Paypal. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay with Paypal. Discounts are offered for full payment at time of booking.

As of January 2018, the original Chilled Out Child meditation and mindfulness teacher training programme will no longer be run as a group training, but will be offered on an individual basis to professionals who are already qualified to work with children and families and who wish to set up a mindfulness programme within their existing professional setting, AND/OR wish to set up regular classes in the community.
